MacNeil's an artisan producer and winner of over 20 Great Taste Awards crafts small batches of smoked products in their tiny smokehouse. Using an imported vintage Norwegian smoking kiln, they load racks with the highest quality ingredients and smoke to recipes developed over many years. MacNeil's products are made using Norwegian techniques with the finest ingredients and a chef's know-how. Their cure and smoke process is unique and produces the most delicious, unique melt in the mouth food which perfectly balances out any dish... A complete antithesis to the run of the mill mass produced smoked fish so prevalent today.

Our traditional way of preparing seafood flies in the face of modern production because we rely on real people taking their time and using age-old skills rather than cutting corners with rows of machines. Although this way is more time consuming and labour intensive, the end result surpasses all expectations.
